The buyer must make the necessary arrangements when:
- A signature is required;
- A delivery appointment is required;
- The shipment cannot be left unattended;
- The carrier requires assistance or information to access the delivery location;
- The shipment must be collected from a carrier facility.
The buyer may designate another authorized person to receive the shipment.

- Confirming the delivery appointment;

Additional charges resulting from a missed appointment, unavailable recipient, inaccessible location, or lack of required unloading arrangements may be charged to the buyer, subject to applicable law.
7. Unsuccessful Delivery Attempts
When the carrier attempts delivery but cannot complete it because:
- No one is available to receive the shipment;
- A required signature cannot be obtained;
- The delivery location is inaccessible;
- The buyer fails to respond to the carrier;
- The buyer fails to confirm a delivery appointment;
- The buyer fails to collect the shipment;

- Storage fees;
- Address-correction fees;

- Return-to-sender charges;
- Customs or brokerage charges;
- Reshipping charges.
A delivery attempt recorded by the carrier may be used as evidence that delivery was attempted.

A shipment may be returned to Les moteurs électriques P.M.R du Québec Inc when the buyer:
- Is unavailable during the carrier’s delivery attempts;
- Fails to collect the shipment within the required period;
- Refuses delivery;
- Fails to respond to the carrier;
- Provides an incorrect or incomplete address;
- Fails to pay customs, duties, taxes, or brokerage fees when applicable.
When a shipment is returned, Les moteurs électriques P.M.R du Québec Inc will contact the buyer using the contact information associated with the order.
The buyer may choose between reshipment and an approved cancellation, subject to the conditions below.
9. Reshipment of a Returned Order
A returned product may be shipped again after the buyer has paid:
- The new shipping charges;
- The carrier’s return-to-sender charges;
- Any storage fees;
- Any address-correction fees;
- Any customs or brokerage fees;
- Any other actual transportation charges caused by the unsuccessful delivery.
The product will not be reshipped until the applicable charges have been paid.
The buyer must confirm the correct delivery address and provide any information required to avoid another unsuccessful delivery.
10. Cancellation After a Shipment Is Returned
When the buyer does not want the product reshipped, the buyer may request cancellation.
No refund will be processed until the product has been returned to and inspected by Les moteurs électriques P.M.R du Québec Inc.
Subject to applicable law and the Return, Refund and 90-Day Limited Warranty Policy, the following amounts may be deducted from the refund:
- A 20% restocking fee;
- The original shipping charges;
- The carrier’s return-to-sender charges;
- Storage charges;
- Address-correction charges;
- Customs or brokerage fees;
- Other transportation costs incurred;
- Any reduction in value caused by damage, use, installation, missing parts, or inadequate packaging.
The refund will be issued to the original payment method whenever possible.
11. Refused Shipments
Refusing a shipment does not automatically cancel the order or qualify the buyer for a full refund.
Unless the refusal is caused by an error attributable to Les moteurs électriques P.M.R du Québec Inc, a buyer who refuses delivery without prior written authorization may be responsible for:
- The original shipping charges;
- Return shipping charges;
- Carrier handling fees;
- Customs or brokerage fees;
- Storage charges;
- The applicable 20% restocking fee.
A refund, when approved, will be processed only after the product has been returned and inspected.
12. Changes or Cancellation After Shipment
Once an order has been shipped, Les moteurs électriques P.M.R du Québec Inc cannot guarantee that the shipment can be redirected, stopped, or cancelled.
If the carrier accepts an address change, delivery change, shipment intercept, or return request, all resulting charges may be billed to the buyer when the change was requested by the buyer or resulted from incorrect information supplied by the buyer.
13. Inspection at Delivery
The buyer must inspect the exterior condition of the shipment at the time of delivery whenever reasonably possible.
Before accepting a visibly damaged shipment, the buyer should:
- Inform the delivery driver;
- Ask that the damage be noted on the delivery record;
- Photograph all sides of the package;
- Photograph any crushed, punctured, opened, wet, or deformed areas;
- Keep all packaging materials, labels, and protective materials.
Signing a delivery receipt “subject to inspection” is recommended when the condition of the product cannot be verified immediately.
14. Products Damaged During Shipping
Visible or concealed shipping damage should be reported in writing to Les moteurs électriques P.M.R du Québec Inc as soon as possible, preferably within 48 hours of delivery, to help preserve the ability to make a claim with the carrier.
The buyer should provide:
- The order or invoice number;
- The tracking number;
- Photographs of the entire package;
- Photographs of the shipping label;
- Photographs of the packaging damage;
- Photographs of the damaged product;
- A description of the damage.
The buyer must keep the product, original packaging, protective materials, pallet, and shipping labels until the claim has been resolved.
The requested 48-hour reporting period is intended to assist with carrier claims and does not remove any mandatory right that cannot legally be waived.
15. Lost or Delayed Shipments
A shipment is not considered lost solely because it has been delayed or has not received a recent tracking update.
When a shipment appears delayed or missing, Les moteurs électriques P.M.R du Québec Inc may open an investigation with the carrier.
The buyer agrees to reasonably cooperate with the investigation by providing any information, confirmation, or declaration requested by the carrier.
Any replacement or refund relating to a lost shipment will be considered after the carrier’s investigation, subject to applicable law.
This section does not limit any mandatory right available to the buyer when a product is not delivered within the time required by applicable law.
16. Proof of Delivery
The following carrier records may be used as evidence concerning the shipment and delivery:
- Tracking history;
- Delivery-attempt records;
- Delivery notifications;
- Electronic signatures;
- Recipient names;
- Delivery photographs;
- GPS delivery information;
- Pickup confirmations;
- Return-to-sender records;
- Carrier investigation results.
Communications sent by Les moteurs électriques P.M.R du Québec Inc or the carrier to the email address, telephone number, or delivery address provided with the order may also be retained as evidence.
17. International Shipments
For shipments outside Canada, the buyer may be responsible for:
- Import duties;
- Customs charges;
- Brokerage fees;
- Local taxes;
- Government fees;
- Inspection fees;
- Other charges imposed by the destination country or carrier.
Unless specifically stated otherwise in writing, these charges are not included in the product price or shipping charge.
The buyer is responsible for providing accurate customs and importing information and for complying with the import requirements of the destination.
A shipment refused or returned because the buyer failed to pay applicable import charges will be handled as a returned-to-sender shipment under this policy.
18. Freight Forwarders and Third-Party Delivery Locations
When the buyer requests delivery to a freight forwarder, warehouse, export company, installer, contractor, or other third party, delivery to that location will be considered delivery to the address selected by the buyer, subject to applicable law.
The buyer is responsible for arrangements made with that third party after the carrier completes delivery to the selected address.
19. Relationship With the Return and Warranty Policy
Returns, refunds, restocking fees, non-returnable products, warranty claims, and warranty-related transportation charges are also governed by the Return, Refund and 90-Day Limited Warranty Policy of Les moteurs électriques P.M.R du Québec Inc.
If the two policies contain different provisions concerning the same situation, they must be interpreted together and subject to any mandatory provision of applicable law.
20. Acceptance of This Policy
By placing an order with Les moteurs électriques P.M.R du Québec Inc, the buyer acknowledges having read and accepted this Shipping and Delivery Policy.
If any provision of this policy conflicts with a mandatory provision of applicable law, the mandatory provision will prevail. All remaining provisions will continue to apply.
